Update on the kittens

We need your prayers...

Well, sad to say that now left 2 kitties only..I guess they were too weak.. They love the warmth of the hot water bag and drinking the milk as well. They are still tiny, it really breaks my heart to see the 2 of them cuddling each other to keep warm.. I'm praying for them everyday...

Stray dog

I feed him fish the other day, he love it!

This dog had been around for quite some time around my working area..Poor thing, I'm worried about his safety. He's an active and happy dog, it's just that people don't understand it. I'll buy him food whenever I had the chance of meeting him. He likes to follow me but given the fact that I'm working with children will cause fear to others, right? I just have to shoo him away..
In this place where I'm living, unlicensed dog will be sent to the pound to be shot, scary, but true. Let's hope for the best for this happy canine..

WAD project in my class

Well, thank you for all the well wishers, I'm so thrilled! It's great to get to know friends out there who really care about the animals, be it the pet or the wild one.. In conjunction with World Animal Day (WAD) yesterday, I did another art project with my class. I asked them to make a pledge for all the animals in the world. There felt very sad about the cruelty being done to all those animals. I'm proud of them as even though I can't do much but at least I'm able to teach them about the importance of saving the animals and the need to love them. The younger generations nowadays have little knowledge about animals, be it pet or let alone the endangered species. Here are some of their artwork.. (Click on the photo for larger image)

MISSION STATEMENT - WORLD ANIMAL DAY

• To celebrate animal life in all its forms
• To celebrate humankind’s relationship with the animal kingdom
• To acknowledge the diverse roles that animals play in our lives – from being our companions, supporting and helping us, to bringing a sense of wonder into our lives
• To acknowledge and be thankful for the way in which animals enrich our live

It's today and the whole world is celebrating it!! What can I do as animal lover? Well, in this country, unfortunately, nothing much:(

I have 3 abandoned kittens at home which I hope will make it.

I know I can't do nothing big to contribute to the World Animal Day, but at least I'm doing my best. Who knows this little things will lead to a bigger change? Happy World Animal Day everyone!!
